Grape seed Extract – Antioxidant (Vitis vinifera) Pure Herbs Liquid Extract used Historically as an Antioxidant, has free radical scavenging properties, seeks out and destroys poisons.
Grape seed Extract – Antioxidant Common Names: Grape Seed
Parts Used: Seed
The seeds used to make grape seed extract come from Vitis vinifera, the wild grape from which most wine grapes originate. This species is native to the Mediterranean region, central Europe, and Southwestern Asia around the Caspian Sea, but its use in winemaking and medicine first began around the Caspian Sea and moved westward.
To make grape seed extract, manufacturers press grape seeds to remove the oil, and then dry and pulverize them into a concentrated extract that they form into a tablet, capsule, or liquid.
Grape Seed Pure Herbs Liquid Extract is made from organically grown grapes. I know that many of you desire to have a good source of Grape Seed -*pro-antho-cyanidins for their* antioxidant and *free radical scavenging properties. We have that. It is made from the seeds of organically grown grapes. This is important. Grapes are sometimes heavily sprayed with some rather nasty poisons. Some of these poisons wind up inside the grapes and inside the seeds themselves. That presents us with a dilemma. Are we adding to the problem of what makes cells go wild and produce bad cells, or are we, hopefully, doing more good than harm with the protective part of the grape seed? Rather than get into that puzzle, wouldn’t it be better to just use organically raised grapes as a source of our product? We thought so, and that is why we did not have a liquid Grape Seed extract product, like everyone else, right away.
*Proanthocyandins, antioxidants and free radicals scavengers are terms used as, roughly, the same things these day. In common terms, they mean compounds from nature which seek out and destroy poisons which make us age too rapidly or die too soon, or both.
