Plantain – Draw foreign objects is one of my favorite herbs to have on hand, great for drawing out the stinger of a bee, slivers and anything that is residing underneath the skin and causing pain or inflammation.
A great way to use Plantain is to melt together 2 tablespoons of beesway or emulifying wax, 2 tablespoons of Shea butter and mix in 1/2 teaspoon of the Plantain extract as it cools. Cool completely before using. Makes a great salve to apply to the skin to help with drawing out those unwanted substances and relieve the misery of a sting.
DOSE: 40 to 80 drops following meals. Applied externally, and liberally as needed, to troubled areas.
Possible Directions on label: For adults, mix 2 ml of extract in 2 oz (60 ml) of water one time daily preferably with a meal.
