Bodily Influences: Chamomile gives a person a calm feeling without becoming addictive.  It has been used effectively to release a person from the addiction of various drugs such as smoking tobacco, alcohol and many others.  Chamomile has been used since Roman times with no recorded bad side-effects.  The plant was used by Roman women externally to bring out the blond highlights in the hair. Among Chamomiles many benefits are calming irritated stomachs and ant the same time softening the skin externally.

External applications of an herb or herbs on a cloth in liquid form is called a fomentation.  Combining Chamomile, Comfrey and apple cider vinegar on a cloth can be used for bruises, sprains, and prevention of gangrene.

Measles, stomach pain, teething, earache, colic (abdominal gas pains) and convulsions are benefited by Chamomile.  When sudden cold or feven besets a baby or child, then the cooling blue principle of Chamomile Pure Herbs Liquid Extract is the friend to reach for.  The Chamomile Extract can be rubbed on the gums of a baby when ‘teething’ and on the abdomen for gas.  When convulsions occur, Chamomile Pure Herbs Liquid Extract can bew applied directly to the spine and the back of the head.

Recommended Dosage: Babies, 4-10 drops as needed internally, in crisis situation give internally and then apply successive applications until relief is obtained.  For relief of smoking or drugs in adults, 10 to 60 drops as needed on or under the tongue any time drugs are desired.  For external applications, soak gauze in the extract and cover the area, cover gauze with pastic and hold in place with a cloth wrap.

Directions on label: For adults, mix 2 ml of extract in 2 oz (60 ml) of water one time daily preferably with a meal.
