Dual Countertop Water Filtration

The CTC-2K Dual Countertop Water Filtration system comes with your choice of a double diverter or spout, faucet adapters, a wide spectrum cartridge & specialty cartridge of your choice. The CTC-2K dual cartridge system utilizes our wide-spectrum cartridges (KR-101N, KR-101A or CR-1) in tandem with a specialty cartridge designed to target a specific contaminant of concern.

EPA estimates that more than 23 million households rely on private wells for drinking water in the United States (August 2021). EPA does not regulate private wells nor does it provide recommended criteria or standards for individual wells. EPA offers information regarding the importance of testing private wells and guidance on technologies that may be used to treat or remove any contaminants.

Drinking water can expose people to a variety of harmful pollutants and pathogens. Public water systems use water treatment and monitoring to protect consumers from such contaminants. Generally, private wells do not receive the same services that wells supplying the public do. Well owner’s are responsible for protecting their drinking water. To do so, a well owner must be aware of their well’s potential for contamination and the possible health effects those potential contaminants can have

CuZn’s wide-spectrum filters are capable of filtering pretty much all of the contaminants seen in municipal waters. However, there are a handful of contaminants that, when present, we recommend using a second cartridge to target specifically. A list of those contaminants are below.
