Uva Ursi – Infections – bladder Common Names: Bearberry, Upland Cranberry, Arberry, Mountain Cranberry, Bear’s Grape, Kinnikinnick.

Parts Used: Leaves

Bodily Influences: Uva Ursi is listed in the American Indian Pharmacopoeia (list of herbal medicines) for what modern doctors would probably call cystitis (bladder infections) and nephritis (kidney infection).  Women of today often have both of these conditions which can prevent satisfactory sexual function.

Uva Ursi Pure Herbs Liquid Extract is not only a remedy for these conditions, but also for chronic gonorrhea.  It is a powerful antibiotic effective in the uro-gential (urinary and reproductive system).  To prevent the formation of stones in kidneys and aid Uva Ursi Pure Herbs Extract in performing its function, it is important to drink at least 6-8 glasses of liquid a day  (vegetable juice, or herbal tea) spring or filtered water with a small amount of apple cider vinegar (3 teaspoons to 3 Tablespoons per day).  This will keep the urinary tract alkaline, preventing the formation of stones; then Uva Ursi’s full antibiotic qualities can become effective.  Uva Ursi, Cornsilk and Gravel Root are among the Kidney’s best friends.

Bladder or kidney Infection, kidney stones or other urinary tract irritations, Uva Ursa is the herb for you

Recommended Dosage: 10 to 40 drops three times a day as needed.  A glass of pure water is taken each time with Uva Ursi Pure Herbs Liquid Extract to help flushing actions.

Directions on label: For adults, mix 2 ml of extract in 2 oz (60 ml) of water one time daily preferably with a meal.
